Okay so I love my parents and I don't want to upset them, but they are sooo restrictive in terms with the other gender. I'm 20 and I want to date and stuff but I don't want my parents and family to find out

And no I can't change my parents point of view, and yes I know I'm an adult etc and also this has nothing to do with religion

I was just wondering if anyone is in the same circumstances as me and how do they avoid family, being in a relationship how would the other person feel with me keeping it a secret from parents? And obviously going out and stuff, I'd have to stay undercover and go to places I'm less likely to run into family, but that would make the other person feel like I'm acting shady

If your reading this and thinking wtf, sorry but not all families are the same, sorry to burst your bubble

why they are restrictive? Like are they scared you'll be attacked or distracted from studies?
I think people would date you (although you may attract the wierdos), just say your going to a friends house / hanging out with friend, its easy!
