Free joke: what do jokes and Donald Trump have in common?
They're funny and ought not to be taken seriously

I still don't understand why people link Trump to Hitler, it's a silly comparison. Until Trump recreates the holocaust and partially causes a Third World War, it's illogical to compare Trump and Hitler. Trump wants to temporary ban muslims(which is still illogical) whilst Hitler wanted to get rid of all Jews permanently, two slightly different things

I think a supposed justification is that when Hitler was coming into power nobody ever thought things would get as bad as they did, i.e. nobody saw the Holocaust and the 2nd world war coming...but obviously the world today is very, very different, and nothing comparable to what Hitler did could happen.

If you actually read the article, he's saying Trump's rhetoric, his tone is similar to Hitler's (and to Mussolini's).

He was not saying Trump = Hitler.

    Read the article before posting.

    Same goes to OP.

Yup, I don't even think the US will be able to even afford to recreate the Holocaust and furthermore with terrorism dominating in the Middle East and sections of Africa I severely doubt there would be a Third World War. I reckon Trump will do serious damage to our economy and the EU(I reckon the potential severe budget deficit of the US that Mr Trump is likely bring on will alone bring the US into a recession), giving another reason why Americans are disliked so much everywhere else

Many of his policies are likened to that of Hitlers tbf.

Just read about Trump making his supporters do a salute eerily similar to the heil hitler salute.

I'm sure he knew the media would pick up on that... More controversy = more popular.

Trump is actually not similar to Hitler pre-power; Hitler and his followers often use violence and intimidation against the opposition while Trump does not.

Trump's rhetoric is much more similar to Richard Nixon pre-office, including things like Nixon's 'Silent Majority silent no more!' compared to Trump's 'Silent majority stands with Trump'.

Nixon's demon was Communists while Trump's are Muslims.

Nixon claimed that illegal immigrants(Specifically Mexican) placed a strain on the welfare system and lowered employment.

Trump just doesn't happen to have Nixon's strong foreign policy.
