Last year I did min 7 hours a week per unit. I revised for a total of 9 main exams but I had study leave so plenty of time, and basically sat there going through textbooks all day. But also I revised for the 9 units during different periods so my average revision time was probably 6 hours a day. I did get all As tho so it worked well

Hi Ronnie, thank you for responding, I know you are very capable academically.

I'm sitting one biology unit and 3 chemistry units in June/ May, two as units and two a2 units; so that would be 28 hours a week I guess. That's not including EMPA's because you can't really revise for them though, not to mention the time I have to spend working because I support myself

Ah thanks so much for saying that!

28 hours a week isn't all that bad although I can see it might interfere with your job. I also had a job at the time but only part time and during the weekend so it didn't cause much of a problem. You can also shift the revision a little bit, eg 4 hours a day is your average, so you might be able to split it, so that if you do no revision one day, you can just add 1 hour to the next 4 days. Hope it all goes well
