I applied for both undergrad and postgrad at bmth and southampton. I got a straight rejection from bmth but have been given an interview for the bsc at soton.

My question is how is it best to approach the subject of applying for both undergrad and postgrad if asked? Ideally I'd like to go on the postgrad course if offered a place as I feel that's where my academic achievements have led me, but I certainly would be grabbing the chance of the undergrad with both hands if that was What was offered and not the pgdip.

Ultimately I just really want to be a nurse and Will go down whichever path I need to get there , was just interested if anyone else had applied for both and if it came up at interview at all?"

    Thanks :-)

Ask them the question - emphasising the bit in bold. If you're willing to be flexible but just want to know if there's any option for the PGDip route then the worst they'll say is no.
