    ...during term time?'

I've got this question on both my student finance form AND on my NHS bursary form and I don't know what to put.

Basically, I'm a mature student. My parents have been divorced for over a decade. I live with parent A and their partner and this is classed as my permanent home/parents home.

However, the uni that is my first choice is in another city near where parent B lives so I'm going to live with them during term time since financially it makes more sense than getting a student flat.

I'm classed as an independent student (25+ and have been working for 3 years) and my home is classed as parent A's address - my driving license/passport/payslips have the address on and will continue to whilst I'm at uni. If I'm not living at my 'home/parents' address and I'm an independent student then do I put 'no' to this question?

As you are over 25, you're an independent student irrespective of where you live. If you're going to be living at one of your parents' house whilst you're at uni then say yes, if not say no.

Thank you, I was concerned it would affect my independent status.
