Unsure about loan entitlement

Hi,
I am a British national having lived in Switzerland (for 16 years this July) and I am applying to a few English universities for September 2016.
I was wondering if I am entitled to a student course fee loan and/or maintenance loan.
Also could someone tell me the deadline for the loan application?

If you can prove that your 16 years in Switzerland was for temporary reasons then you will be entitled to both tuition fee and maintenance loans.

If you can't then you may only be eligible for tuition fee loans (same as any EU student resident in the EU or EEA/Switzerland)
