Failing chemistry practical?

Ok, well I was just wondering whether it's possible to fail your chemistry practical for not wearing safety glasses? I know it's almost been a week now since the OCR AS practical but I'm getting scared because I didn't put them on until after I poured the ethanoic acid (I think?) into the volumetric flask. I thought the paper went really well too :frown: The invigilator didn't say anything to me but I was hoping someone could answer this for me. I am indeed rather silly. Thank you.

Don't worry about not wearing safety glasses, the only thing you get marked on in the practical is what you write down on the exam paper, not on wether you take safety precautions or not

Thank you so much! I swear one of our chemistry teachers said you could... but I do know more about chemistry than her and that's saying something lol.

Not strictly true. You get marked on procedure- the teachers walk round with clip boards. You wont have lost more than one mark for it- and they would have said something if they had noticed anyway.
