Full time Holiday Job

Dear Student Finance,

I would like to ask if i can work a full time job during holidays, for example during 3 weeks of Easter holidays. I am curious if this would affect my student loan and would i be getting less money during my another University year?

If you're applying as a dependent student (ie your maintenance loan is based on your parents income) then you can work as much as you like during term and the holidays without affecting your loan amount.

If you're an independent student then working in the holidays might affect your loan amount if you end up with a household (you plus any partner/spouse) income above £25k
Hi povilukas

We do not take into consideration any earnings of the student from full or part-time work this can be vacation work or work during term time.
