Hi, since I've got two conditional offers from Salford and the uni of Manchester for children nursing, im struggling to make a decision on which to choose. People have told me different things about both, but I want the place that will give me the best experience and the best support during work and placements.
So if anyone currently doing nursing in either of those uni's could tell me what it's like it would really help

Hi I've moved this to the Nursing and Midwifery forum - if you look in the stickied threads you will find all the students applying for the same courses and can join in the discussion. (The Healthcare forum where you posted this is for other health professions)

When I went to Salford University for interview I spoken to a lecturer and he basically said choose the uni you felt most comfortable with. A degree is a degree at the end of the day so go with where you felt at 'home'. From day 1 i knew I wanted to go EdgeHill and was adament that was my only choice, my other choices were "back ups".. However when I went Salford I instantly fell inlove with the relaxed atmosphere & the clinical simulators.. plus i know some fab nurses who studied there.. Ive been offered a place for Salford MH Nusing cohort April 17 and thats where im gonna choose! 😆

    Congrats on ur offers xxx

Thank you so much! This has really helped; I did really like the atmosphere at Salford and I've been told the simulators are used more at Salford than Manchester so I'm thinking more Salford xx
