    You should have called up as well, emails can get lost during the day and they may not have seen it. As it was an emergency you do have a valid reason. Go tomorrow, but
    don't act like nothing has happened. Acknowledge that you weren't there and explain your situation and move on.

    I did called, but the person I was intend to talk to wasn't at her desk as I was informed.

    Regarding the person I helped it wasn't emergency, but it was important.

    I truly can't believe that I let this to happen...
