I've received a conditional offer from the University of Liverpool to study Law, and I put it as my insurance choice about a month ago. I want to change the course to the Law with a year abroad (4 years)
I was just wondering if this is possible as I've made an agreement to insure the university with that specific course and also I've changed the course before from law with criminology to law:/ but it isn't a massive change from law, to the same course just with a year abroad with it.
Or would it be possible if say I didn't make my firm choice and went to Liverpool to then change the course in the first week of university perhaps?

any info would be helpful, thanks

You could definitely change in the first week. If the course is quite popular, it's more difficult, but if you get in early you should be fine.

A year abroad is only conditional anyway - you have to get more than (I think) 65% in your first year modules to do the year abroad. So I don't think they'd have any problem whatsoever putting you on that course in the first two weeks. I know people who changed other courses then.
