    Hi

I am applying for Both University and Apprenticeships. If I am successful in securing a good apprenticeship I would prefer that route over university but if I can not find an apprenticeship I will be going to uni.

I am about to apply for my student finance, I'm just wondering if it is possible to cancel this if get an apprenticeship, if so:
how easy is it to do so?
    Is there a deadline?
    How do I do it?

    Thank you in advance

The SLC don't pay out a penny (either of your tuition fee loan to your uni or your maintenance loan) until your university confirms to them that you've turned up in person. If you don't turn up to your degree your loan gets cancelled.

Simply notifying your university in the weeks/days before your course starts is all you need to do.
