Heya, I'm about to graduate from the course (so I am still on it when it was called Film and TV Prod, though I believe its exactly the same). And I've loved it. I won't lie its 3 years of a lot of hard work, but you have to work hard to get into the industry so its just good preparation really.
The course is half and half theory and practical, which doesn't mean you only get to make a few films as I made at least 8 in the first year. And if your worried about theory I came in with no film theory past and I was fine. But making the films was definitely my favourite part and I spent almost all of my time doing it on and off course.
I am about to finish the course and try and get work in the industry which is the most terrifying bit, but I have made loads of contacts here now and I've met loads of people on sets who have graduated from the course in the past and its great as they recommend me for other work . So really its been really good for me.
Hope this is useful! And sorry to have gone on a bit... :P

    Hi there

We have had approximately 650 applications this year for 60 places on the course.

    Best wishes

I know someone who went there. They enjoy it, but it depends what you are looking for. Are you in for the practical elements or the theoretical side of things? If you are looking for practical, then Westminister is a good choice.

It's also in London, which if you want to work in the industry is ideal. Make sure to do internships and extra-curricular things during your time at Uni.
