    FrenchUnicorn, I think you mean careers adviser rather than a councellor.

    But, yeah I kinda relate - it's similar in the computer science field, and I'm either type 1 or 2 depending on the day.

    Careers adviser probably fits, but counsellor would also have been right, though it's spelled with an S in the middle instead of a C. :hippie:

    I didn't think counsellor fits - I thought it was talking about careers.

    A very interesting post (as always :hugs:) - its so sad that so many students fail med im first year :/ but then its great that they decide to have another go later on - i admire that sort of dedication
