Well this is odd. OP staunchly defends liberal Sanders against the regressive conservatives while at the same time staunchly defending the regressive Iranian regime against liberal opposition.

I'm for democracy. But, i know that the regressive regime's in the US , and the saudi-dictatorships in the ME have no interest in or for the iranian people, and try to infiltrate and influence, not for a better country , but their own geopolitical games.

I defend the iranian regime in terms of it's foreign policy - anti-war , pro palestine, anti intervention, et al

The only way I see this going in Sanders' favour is if the court decides it's a misinterpretation of the statute. For that reason, it's a bit surprising that it was filed in federal court.

It's great when you can undermine someone's argument in one word:

    Syria.

I've done some pretty indepth research and can quite easily refute this argument.

But let's stay and stick to the topic of the thread.

I don't really think you can. You'd have to be mad to deny Iranian involvement in Syria.

I can't deny involvement, but foreign needless intervention i absolutely can refute, and i've done painstaking research on the syria issue, i've spent maybe close (literally) or between 500-1000 hours just researching the syrian issue. It is a real obsession for me.

But again, it's a complex issue not within the scope of this thread.
