facebook login

Sorry, this may be the wrong place, but I'll ask anyway :smile:

Since last night, I've not been able to sign into my facebook account. Now it goes to the sign in page, and I put in my details, but the page times out before loading. I haven't changed any setting since yesterday, and it doesn't seem that anyone else is having difficulties signing in. I've also discovered I can't load any links to facebook either since they time out also.

Any ideas? I've messaged facebook but haven't head anything back yet.

I am having the exact same problem, havn't been able to log in since yesterday afternoon, (it was working fine at midday).

Yeah it was working perfectly in the day. I changed from Safari to Firefox, which I initially thought was the problem, but I realised that I'd been using it during the day with no problems. I will let you know if and when I hear back from the Facebook people!

Gah it's even more annoying knowing that messages are being left and i can't read them :frown:

I can't get in either. I could last night, but not today.
I'm so annoyed as well; my best friend's in hospital, and I think he's tried to call me today, but I can't get back in touch with him cuz the message he left the number on for me is on Facebook. :frown:

Is it on your wall or your messages inbox? Cause if it's on your wall, you could get someone on your facebook to have a look for you?

I e-mailed their customer services and had access to my account again in a couple of hours.

My account's fine.

Yep, it started working again about 9 last night. I also emailed them but didnt hear from them. Only got emails today saying that they were aware of the problem, but I think there's something wrong with my uni email account cause I tend to get lots of emails late.
