Hi, so I have been accepted for PG study at Middlesex Uni in September 2017.

I will relocate from Hampshire to London as the costs of rent round here (South East) are quite high anyhow and the commuting costs would kill me. Plus I want to live there as I'm entering a creative field so London is the place to do my work and try and find eventual employment in down the line....

So question is - what is a good area to live in NE London, not too far - either bus or cycle ride - from Hendon Central Tube area...?

That's in Zone 3, so quite high I reckon, so would make sense to consider outer Zone areas like 4,5 or 6.

Single bedsit or single room in shared house, I'm trying to get about £450 - £550 a month including bills, council tax and WIFI.... £450 - £500 would be ideal

All advice and ideas greatly appreciated.

    Thread moved.

Hendon Campus is actually in NW; so you'd be better off living there rather than NE, probably.
