Really need advice for a problem I've had for a while - I sweat quite a lot (armpits), and it ends up staining my t shirts especially white ones because it makes the area yellow. It can also make me smell which is extremely embarrassing.

I'm a very clean person, I shower every day. I've been to the doctors about this a few times and what they give me doesn't really help. I've been given things like Driclor and things high in aluminium to try and help but what they give me seems to make the area come out in a rash, which gets very sore and red (I have sensitive skin).

I've just tried an aluminium free deodorant (heard it stops the yellow stains), but I still smell while using it and it doesn't mask it much. Yellow stains aren't as bad but they are still there.

Please anyone give me some advice?? It's making me so paranoid now.

I used to have the same problem. It was solved by a 5min trip to the pharmacy. Told them I had issues with sweating too much and they gave me a strong antiperspirant which you leave on overnight a few times a week and wash off in the morning. Now I hardly ever sweat and my clothes ans self esteem are safe. :P

You might want to go to the gp if you want to work out if there is any cause but a trip to the pharmacy is probably all you'll need to deal with it.
