Hello, I was wondering how to get an A*/A on my coursework. My exam board is AQA. What do i write for the design brief? I'm doing the cinema fairytale project.

Hey! I'm doing GCSE Graphics too and the same task I chose Rapunzel ^-^
I remember first starting off ding a lot of written work on the computer, like a research analysis and specification and stuff, so cram a lott of detail into there.
Are you good at drawing? You're going to have to draw 6 stand ideas and a final design and all of them will have to be annotated so make sure to be very detailed when doing that
Are you good on the computer (photoshop/fireworks)? You're going to have to design 6 posters, tickets, flyers & a final poster & ticket & flyer and analyse all of them too (Woo.)
The making of the stand is worth the most, I think 32 marks so focus a lot on that when it comes to it
At the end, the stand has to be evaluated, which is at the stage I'm kind of at now (I still need to analyse my posters/flyers/tickets :/ )
My graphics teacher's realllly good because he helps alottt and and makes us sheets with questions that we answer in the analysis
Practice past papers as well because the ask weird stuff like who designed the map of the London underground (Harry Beck ) and it's split into sections. The first is drawing, then all the written ones come in. With the drawing, the give you a design brief and make you draw a couple of designs and then the final one that you sometimes have to annotate They tell you ow much time you should spend on the question too.
