PGCE Funding special circumstance

Hi,

I left a course half way in 2013 due to extenuating medical circumstances. I deferred a few times until I eventually left. I started a new degree in 2014 and was awarded a further 3 years of funding for my new degree which I am due to complete in 2017. I know that there is a maximum of 4 years funding that can be awarded in normal circumstances. If I were to apply for a PGCE would I be eligible for further funding based on my background?

I hope you are able to help.

Thank you.
Hi Aimes_14

A PGCE course is classed as an exception course and you will be able to apply for funding for this regardless if you have used your years of previous study.

Thanks
