    Ok for the nitrogen cycle: have these points...
    Nitrogen enters by lightning when oxygen and nitrogen molecules combone to form nitrates
    Nitrogen enters also by nitrogen fixing in the soil convert nitrogen to nitrates
    Nitrates enter the soil by decomposition and excretion
    Plants take up nitrogen from the soil by their roots such as nitrates and turn it into protein for growth.
    Nitrogen leaves by denitrifying bacteria which converts nitrates to nitrogen.

    Carbon is an essential compound
    It is recycled through the carbon cycle
    It enters as co2
    Plants fix it to carbon so it can be stored by photosynthesis
    It's returned by respiration when plants release energy
    Returned by combustio
    Returned by decomposition of dead stuff and make sure u say microorganism or bacteria decompose it
