No, for the carbon cycle plants do not respire! They pass on the energy/carbon to the animals when animals eat it and than the animals decay/decompose and respire through their lifetime to release carbon back out.

    Carbon is an essential compound
It is recycled through the carbon cycle
    It enters as co2
Plants fix it to carbon so it can be stored by photosynthesis
It's returned by respiration when plants release energy
    Returned by combustio
Returned by decomposition of dead stuff and make sure u say microorganism or bacteria decompose it

    Clones form when:
Fertilised zygot splits in two to form identical twins
Artificially when an adult nuckeusnis placed into an empty egg cell
When plant stems extend into the soil, their tips grow on to form an identical plant
    Asexual reproduction.

Technically plants do respire, but i dont think it is required for us to know.

Just do the review questions at the back of each section of the textbook and you will be fine.

    Hi,

Did anyone who did the 2015 paper get three marks on question 3D?
Not sure what I'm missing so a three mark answer would be really helpful if someone would be kind enough.

If you want to go above and beyond, an answer to 3Aii would also be nice.
