    Hi everyone,

    I am interested in dermatology.

From my understanding, I need to do 2 foundation years after my degree.
    And then start CT1&2.

Does anyone know what this involves?

    Thanks

Get into medical school. Do **** loads of research in dermatology and finish top 10% of your cohort. Get a foundation placement with a dermatology rotation. Then apply for CT1/2 and continue throughout all this with research. Then you'll perhaps stand a chance at succeeding in your ST3 application for one of the most competitive specialities out there. It's gonna be hard work.

I think the above post is a bit pessimistic. Obviously the stuff mentioned helps, but not everyone will be doing all that simply to "perhaps stand a chance".

    I suppose I was a little offputting...
