Hello everyone. I am looking for anybody who would recommend proper books for the GCSE level. I will be taking a few GCSE next year as a private candidate (Im 19 already). Most of the books are for AQA because it has the subjects that I am interested in, and doesn't require any Controlled Assignments.
These are the books that I have recently purchased:
Economics - AQA GCSE
Law - AQA GCSE
Sociology - Collins Sociology for AQA (Revision)
Psychology - GCSE Letts
English - AQA - English and English Language - Higher Tier
English - GCSE Foundation Collins
Maths - New GCSE maths Revision Collins for AQA
Maths - Letts GCSE Higher Tier
Have you used any of these books?
If anybody has achieved good results, the highest grades, could you tell me which books have you used?

I've used the GCSE sociology Collins AQA revision book and it's really good. It will get you a grade higher than a B. With exam papers you have to explain briefly and have lots of practice. You also have to look through journalists that aren't in the textbook so you could use them as an example in the exam paper because they won't provide you with information like this
