    Hey everyone,

For my two cultural topics I've picked a region (Mexico) and a painter. I'm looking at the past paper essay questions and they look horrific. How am I supposed to write so much about the economy of a country or the techniques of a painter? It seems like there's so much terminology to remember and I'm scared I won't have enough content when it comes to the exam...

I'm also confused on how much to write or how to structure it. Last year it was a bit like:
    Intro
    P1
    P2
    P2
    Conclusion
But this year we need to write much more...

    Any tips?

Not sure if the same applies to you because I'm doing an author and a painter, but most of the essay questions are 2 part questions in which (a) and (b) link. Therefore you should try and split the question into (a) and (b) and then answer accordingly.

For instance your answer could look like:

    Intro
    P1a
    P1b
    P2a
    P2b
    P3a
    P3b
    Conclusion

Depending on how you would want to write it.

    Hope this helps

No no no this is completely wrong! You only answer one of the parts-either a) or b)

I meant two parts as in, there are two parts to one question . E.g. The question may be - 12(a)"Analiza las acciones de dos personajes principales en la novela. En tu opinión ¿que revelan de su personalidad y actitudes?"

And if you were to break that question up:

Part (a/i) would be "Analiza las acciones de dos personajes principales en la novela."

And part (b//ii) would be "En tu opinión ¿que revelan de su personalidad y actitudes?".

Sorry if I explained that in a confusing way before.
