    Heyyy!!

Ive been offered an unconditional place on Mathematics foundation year. Im a little nervous, as i am a mature student and been out of the education loop for a while. Im worried I will find it really difficult...well near impossible...difficult i can handle. Is there any catch up reading I can do and refreshers anyone would recommend.

Hi there! I'd suggest 'How to Think Like a Mathematician: A Companion to Undergraduate Mathematics' by Kevin Houston. It explains some of the core concepts you'll need when studying undergrad maths in a super approachable and simple way. Also, there are simple exercises at the end of every section to make sure you're absorbing it all. It's recommended by Cambridge Uni for background reading, and it's helped me out a lot.
