I want to pick my 2 choices but I'm a bit indecisive. From the 2 universities I'm considering, I have a conditional offer from but one says that if I make it my firm choice, they will convert my offer to unconditional.

My question is: If I choose the 2, then inform the university to convert my offer, I can still have an insurance right? Versus just firming the one and then having it be changed to unconditional and only having 1 choice.

No you cannot have an insurance, once your firm turns UF your insurance choice disappears. Choose wisely and dont let the lure of the unconditional offer make you choose somewhere you're not in love with.
