Your thoughts on him? For me, I grew up looking up to the guy, his style, his panache. For me, he is infinitely more interesting than Messi and much more human.

What do you mean by "much more human"?

To me, Messi seems to be a normal human in every way, just one who happens to really enjoy and be really good at football; whereas Ronaldo is more of a celebrity.

Messi does not really seem to have an actual personality, he does inhuman things with the football and his style is generally quite boring. It's like he is an actual ****ing computer/robot and lacks humanity/artistry.

Are you talking about the way he plays football, or the way he just behaves in life in general?

Personally, when it comes to playing football, I always saw Messi as being much more "human" than Ronaldo. Ronaldo seems to be more like a machine trained and developed specifically to play football, playing in a very "textbook" sort of way but of course at the highest level. Whereas Messi seems to me like he plays more with natural creativity rather than being a perfect specimen.

If you're talking about life in general, then I guess on the one hand Ronaldo seems "more human" because he's more of a celebrity and public figure, more extroverted etc. so you actually get to see more of the way he lives his life. Messi is "boring" in that regard because, outside of football he's just like any other average Joe.

Good post.

Neither are human really. Ronaldo is probably Portuguese for Robot, and is running on optimal settings after hours and hours of tests and tweeking. Messi is a freak of nature, he just drops onto Earth when Barcelona have a football match to win.

Messi all day everyday. Just something about him when he has the ball I could watch him for hours. Fairly bias though because I think Ronaldo is just a f****** d***

More interesting as a celebrity. On the pitch, he is possibly the most boring to watch.

This has to be a joke. I mean he has a personality that is boring, but he is very enjoyable to watch.
