I'm applying for student finance, other details have gone through fine, but I don't have a bank account so I have had to skip that for the time being. I do have a savings account, not a current account. I'm not sure what to do! Can I use my savings account for now and then get a student account afterwards as I looked on Santandar and it said if you have a conditional offer (which is what I have) to wait until after results day before getting the student account. So do I get a normal current account and then transfer it to be a student account or can I get a student account now and use that in my details?

    Hi maryling1997

We don't need your bank details straight away. As long as we have them at least 4 working days before your payment is due, you will receive your funding on time.
You can add your bank details once you have them.

    Thanks
