I got 3B's and a C in my December AS mocks, I want to drop English lit right now, even though I got a B in it for many reasons, I haven't wanted to carry it on from the start of the year. Would it look better when applying to universities to:
Drop it now whilst I still have a good grade showing and focus more on my other subjects and get better grades in them or
Drop it at the end of AS but possibly not get a brilliant grade in it?

    Any advice?

If the AS is still there I would continue to do it, as at this point you have invested a decent amount of time in the subject so it would probably be detrimental to you to drop

Have you sat any actual exams in it yet? Because if it's only been internal school mocks and nothing actually graded/getting a qualification etc., I don't think you'll need to state it on your UCAS form at all. I might be wrong though.

If the uni and course you are applying to do no specify a fourth AS on their entry requirements (or admission policy), then it is fine. If you are unsure, you can email the uni you are interested in.

Might as well just take the exam and drop it for A2 IMO. You said that you don't want to carry it on, which is fine, but free UCAS points, ammirite?
