Thank you! I'll be waiting anxiously! I'm also doing hazards..a bit bummed that it focuses on landscapes since I know nothing about it...only descriptive information from the textbook...

Me too! Landscapes is the worst bit! Hopefully when we all go through it we can share the case studies we use

Do we need to make synoptic links in section A? My teachers kept telling us the pre-release would be tech fix, I have no revision notes on superpowers

Unit 4 looks good though! I'm doing Life on the Margins, what case studies has everyone looked at?

Unit 4, life on the margins question seems to be very similar to June 2010 : ‘Food supply inequalities have complex physical and human causes’. Discuss'

But since its asking us to 'Explore the political, socio-economic and environmental factors' they might narrow the question down to one cause and compare, or even ask us specifically about 'scales'.

Not sure how i feel about this yet...just going to wait on class prep.

This is very true, could you give examples of some questions you currently think could come up.

e.g. Assess the socio-economic factors which could lead to food supply inequalities.

I am lol, I think managing pollution and having varying examples requires a lot of research but roughly I think we need stuff like London congestion charges, China's pollution management, Jakarta's use of masks , The odd-even car plate trial in Delhi are good examples for it,,.

What do you feel about the methodology, do you prefer the table version or the paragraph one?

I can't believe people don't like superpowers. It's not only the most interesting topic, but it's also the most straightforward. I'm also going to do The Technological Fix and The Development Gap.

I do like superpowers I'm saying it's annoying it's the pre release because I found it most interesting to revise for the other questions!

You should be happy I think, as pre-release section is 40 marks/90 and its on Superpowers so ideally you should do really well.
