Hi, a friend of mine was applying for student finance last year. Because of the lack of evidence he decided to Photoshop one of the evidences just by changing address on the bill. Basically, he was caught by student finance and now he is not eligible for it and putted in the 'ban'.
Is there any possibility to appeal? Is there any success on it?

    What a fool.

yes he can appeal against the decision, but first he might find out what the SL comapnies views are and how long the ban will last. It may be very difficult to get them to change their minds as it has involved dishonesty. Your friend would do well to take advice and to get an adult to assist with any appeal. Their actions were so stupid, they need to realise how seriously the SL company takes it.

That was a pretty dumb move if you ask me

I'm not sure if you can appeal once you break rules like that, isn't it more of a 'ban' forever?
If he just contacted them about the lack of evidence to begin with it should have been sorted much easier but because of his "unlawful" actions, it might not be forgiven.

I highly doubt the success of such an appeal as he would need an extremely good reason for not trying the more proper methods before resorting to photoshop
