I am in year 10 and have work experience in june/july (I know that sounds ages away but we have been given the form for it now) and I'm not sure where I should go. When I'm older I want to be a doctor, preferably a pediatrician, so I thought i could maybe do something at the hospital but my mum (she works at the hospital) said it would just be in offices and it would be very boring. and the only other idea i have had is that i could go to my primary school (i thought as i wanted to be a childrens doctor working with children could be helpful) but i know that that is a massive cliche and everyone who has no idea what to do with their lives goes to their primary school.

Any work experience is better than no work experience, and it would look good on a medical application if you did it in a hospital however work experience in a primary school is also actually quite good and there's loads of skills from it that you can talk about on applications
