I have accepted my offer at MMU (Accounting + Finance , 260 Pts.) as my firm choice, if I don't get the grades at A-Level, I will most likely try to get a place at foundation level via clearing (160 Pts.).
Can anyone tell me if this would be possible? And how easy it would be?

    Hi there,

    Thank you for your post.

We will review applications where students have narrowly missed the conditions of their offer by a small margin, and in some cases will still confirm places or offer alternative courses that may be suitable in Clearing. This is obviously at the discretion of the Admissions Tutor and also depends on if there are any vacancies available at the time. Unfortunately, every year there are some subjects where we cannot take any students who miss their conditions.

    I hope this helps,

    Best wishes,

    Stewart

    Thanks for your reply,

I'm a little confused about what will happen of results day regarding Uni courses/clearing.

What happens to UCAS Track offer on results day?

What do I do if I achieve the grades on the offer? ,and is there anything I need to, regarding my offer?

What do I do if I don't achieve the grades on the offer? (I understand that I need to phone up the University to see if they'll still accept me, but what then?)

    Thanks,

    Hi there,
If you meet the conditions ofyour offer on results day, you will be informed via UCAS Track that your placeat MMU is confirmed and that you’re in. You don’t need to do anything else.
If you don’t meet the terms ofyour offer then you will be released into Clearing and you need to startringing round to discuss your options.
    I hope this helps,
    Best wishes,
