I'm 14 turning 15 in a few months and I think its time my parents trust me a little bit more to go out with friends and what not. But my parents don't trust me at all. For example, I had football training and it usually finishes at about 6pm and im home by 6:30 but onetime there was a **** ton of traffic buses are slow anyways so I got home at about 8pm and my mum flipped the frick out. She basically started asking a crap ton of questions like where did you actually go and I had to show her my ticket so she believed that I actually did go to practise. She asked stuff like are you doing drugs are you stealing and stuff like that. Bottom line how do i get my parents to trust me a little bit more.

Is there any reason why you didn't call her? She does have a point tbh. If you were 5 minutes late, I could see your point.

She knew that my phone wasn't working properly so I couldn't call her but I usually tell her there might be traffic so i could end up being late, (its known that there is always traffic on that bus route) but she still accused me of doing/dealing drugs and she asked me do any of my friends smoke or whatever.

I understand that she was worried and all but she some how came to the conclusion of me doing drugs because I was an hour late. If I was doing drugs wouldn't she be able to tell?
