    Hi there,

    so..

basically I currently have an AM license which entitles me to ride up to a 50cc bike, which I currently do as I'm 16.

At the moment, I'm currently looking into buying a bigger bike ready for my 17th, a bigger bike being a 125cc.

Now my question is: When I turn 17 and take my theory and practical test, will I need to take the theory and practical test again when I turn 19 and want to upgrade to an even bigger bike? Or will my license just cover any bike as long as I am the right age to ride it?

Thank you in advance for any replies.

    Your license will cover it.

Meaning that I do not need to take the theory or practical when I am 19?

How about when I am 21? (as I'm taking direct access)
