Hi there, I currently have an unused hsbc credit card i got with my student account, I cant find any information on any of their documentation or website that clearly states how long I have to repay the amount spent on the card before incurring charges?

Could someone with more knowledge on the matter clear this up for me please?

    Thanks

Assuming that there's no introductory 0% period on purchases (and there probably isn't for a free card on your student account), interest will be due if you don't pay in full by the payment due date for each statement. This will usually be several weeks after your statement date - ie expenses in March will probably have to be paid off in full by late April / early May.

Its normally 28 days before you start incurring interest. Whatevers left after that time will incur the monthly charge. Pay it off in full and no charge.
