There would be more people calling themselves "Anglo-Saxon Nationalist".

The real question is "what would the world be like if the Roman Empire hadn't fallen and still existed?"

I suppose the original English people would technically be Celtic Britons.

The Anglo-Saxons were like the ruling caste at the time of the Norman invasion.

What actually happened during the Norman conquest? I have this idea that they killed all the Anglo-Saxon rulers and raped all the women.

(systematically over hundreds of years)

That's scary to think about. I wonder if they would have attempted to conquer Ireland.

We'd all be calling castles "slots", saying "kingly" instead of royal, and "sheenful" instead of beautiful.

As well as probably calling beef "rothermeat".
