    Basically the title.

If I get my A level results, and they're very good, can I decline from my firm choice, and choose to take a gap year?

Yes. You'll just need to tell the uni - you'll get information on how to do this at the time (it's usually by email).

Be aware that if you want to reapply to the same uni you're not guaranteed to be offered a place.
