Is it normal for college/sixth form centre to keep sixth form students (from 16-18 or 19) locked on site from 9-3.30 every day when there are no facilities and a noticeable lack of space and teachers to accommodate students when they have no lessons.. which can be up to 3 hours a day in one block.
To be allowed to leave the site the student must have parental consent for a doctors appointment only, but preferably, the students should arrange all doctors appointments for after sixth form hours. This is despite most doctors surgeries closing before students can get to them and these students also being adults themselves.

This is balls. My school lets people out as long as they sign out and sign back in to school to let them know where they are
