Due to certain circumstances, my final year at school has been hellish. I stuck it out (wish I hadn't) and got an unconditional to Glasgow Caley.

I want to drop out now that I know I have something to go to, but I am a little worried they'll take back my offer.

Glasgow University contacted our school to tells us that if a student drops a subject after getting an unconditional, they'll retract their offer.

Is this the case with Glasgow Caley? My friend says the can't do anything if I drop out with an unconditional. I've emailed the university to ask, but still waiting for a response.

It doesn't matter which uni, the offer is based on you sitting the exams you stated in UCAS despite the grades you get.

Phone the university and ask. Make sure you talk to the tutor of the course, and the admissions team.

Don't do anything rash until you've heard back from the university.

Can you really not stick out the last few weeks of school? It's almost the Easter holidays &, after the holidays, you'll be on study leave before you know it.
