That is such a wrong stereotype have you ever been to a REAL hockey match nothing where u have to wear body armour cos ur scared to get knocked about abit. Pink shirts and tight jeans is polo.


It isn't a wrong stereotype. Here in the Netherlands it is considered pretty normal for men to wear a pink shirt and tight jeans in their day-to-day activities. I didn't mean while they are playing field hockey. I was just drawing a parallel between the popularity of mens field hockey in some European countries and the popularity of feminine attire on men in those same European countries.

Random coincidence. The germans play a lot of field hockey and you don't see them prancing around in fishnets.
If we are insinuating that field hockey is a "girls" sport I would quite happily show you all my many scars from having balls fly directly at my head and various other places resulting in stitches i have lost count of, broken bones and knees that no longer any kind of joint that belongs to a human.

Field hockey tops ice hockey. End.
