Repeating year 11 due to anxiety watch

    • Thread Starter

I left school at the beginning of year 11. I was being bullied and i just broke down, i was depressed and i still am. CAMHS recommended i take a break for my own wellbeing so i did. Ive attempted suicide over this, many times, but that was a while a go, and I'm currently doing well, after counselling. I have bad anxiety. And find it difficult being under any exam condition. I can have panic attacks or become very unwell, this happens around people who bullied me as well. Ive missed so much school, and have not done any revision, the exams in 2 months. Ive also missed the deadline for my exam registration. Should i repeat year 11 in a different school? I want to do well, i don't want to fail, i want to get the best grades, because i dont want to let what happened impact my life.

I'm so sorry about everything you've been going through. Have you continued with your studies during your break? I think it might be a bit hard to take your GCSEs this year if you haven't. You should definitely discuss this with someone from CAMHS or your school who better understands your situation though
