My college is still making me sit AS exams in June this year but other colleges are doing it linear and all 3 A levels are sat at the end of the two years.

I've been told these AS grades don't count so does that mean i'll have to sit all the exams for the topics I've done this year AGAIN next year alongside my new A2 ones?

Yes, the exams you sit next year will include the AS content you are sitting exams for this year. I'm sorry, the system your school is following is pointless. My school is also doing this but thankfully I'm in year 13 already... I pity you poor year belows.

Does that mean i'll do 4 Biology Exams for the 4 units (2 exams from this year and 2 next year) or will they be mixed into on larger exam so next year I only do two papers?

I am doing AS exams this year in new spec because they basically create your predicted grades for A2, and are good practice anyway

Not sure if you will have more exams or not, sorry. I just know that the AS content will be assessed.
