I will be starting uni in one of the uni's in Manchester in September, I will be 25 when I start. I feel I should do halls for the first year, even though I currently live in Manchester with friends for probably much cheaper, purely for social reasons and making friends at uni.
My only issues are I'm worried about being the oldest one there and not having anyone around my age/mentality.
I do like going out but I don't think I could keep up and do it as much as the 18/19 year olds! (2 day hangovers are real!)
So I really want to know from other people's experience whether it's worth the extra cost, and if I'm likely to have another oldy with me..
And also what happens after July because I don't have anywhere to go back to!
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
