    Perhaps you are slacking slightly. Perhaps there are few gaps in your knowledge that this particular test teased out. Perhaps you need to devote some more time to your subject. Perhaps you have forgotten some details. Perhaps...

    There is an endless list of possibilities. Only you can identify that. I would just advise you to consider what you have been doing differently. If you haven't been doing anything differently, perhaps you then need to start doing something more.
