I am not sure what the answer is to this question - I would appreciate any help

An elastic tape consists of 60% polyester and 40% neoprene. Neoprene is a polymer similar to synthetic rubber.

    - Why do manufacturers use a mixture of polyester and neoprene in the tape?
    - What reagent would show the presence of neoprene in the elastic tape, and what would you observe using this reagent?

    Thanks in advance!

Have you looked up the structure of neoprene?

Have you tried to do the question for yourself?
