    Hey Guys;

    Well, I was just thinking about the whole "An eye for an eye" and in short, if someone hurt you/took something away from you and you had the opportunity to take someone of equal value away from that person, would you?

    Naw. Why would I want to degrade myself to their level? Unless it involves my Mother… or my cat. Then you're a dead (wo)man walking...

    personally i dont even think it would be fair to just go an eye for an eye. If I was minding my own business and they initiated, I think they should lose an eye and more as punishment for purposely interfering with my life. Like if somebody stole some money from me, it wouldnt be enough just to get that money back. The fact that they interfered and caused inconviniance requires them to pay more

    Yes. Assuming they did it on purpose and in some cases an eye for 2 eyes like the guy above mentioned ^

    Eye for a life, mano.

    If someone stabs you in the eye, stabbing them in the eye is just gonna make them stab you somewhere else.

    You have to let them know they shouldnt have f***ed with you in the first place, and end the violence right there. Only way you can do that is hit them back so hard they regret ever crossing you.

    I just think it's wrong to try to take someone away from someone else, but possessions could be OK I guess.
    Well it depends on the situation really but I don't think I ever could or would tbh. I'd probably feel like I wanted to but I think it's best to accept what's happened then move on.

    Oh I'd go out of my way to get back at them, they took my eye? I take two eyes from them. That way I'd not only replace my eye but have one spare like some kind of Naruto like scenario

    You didn't complete the quote. "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind". I personally believe that if someone did wrong to you, they'll be punished for it. It shouldn't necessarily involve you doing bad to them. There are things like Karma. Just got to wait for it.

    He is referring to the original quote, which is taken from the bible as;

    an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a hand for a hand, a foot for a foot,

    If someone does something bad to me then generally I do something twice as bad back.

    1) Revenge
    2)I do it twice as badly so they don't do it again - Deterrant.
