No seriously, my hair is that thick my parting looks like a strand of cotton and i can barely tie standard bobbled twice without it snapping. Its not afro or curly, not even wavy- it's straight.

I just cut it a few months back, from 26'' to 11'' for a cancer charity so now it seems to grow outwards rather than downward.

    Advice?

In terms of bobbles, I find the ones without the metal bits snap a lot less I tend to take the top part of my hair back in a bobble and tie it to keep it out of the way, as putting all of my thick hair in a bobble looks weird - but this way just tames it a bit

Yep! I've found this brand is the best, and they even do ones specifically for thick hair: http://www.boots.com/en/Scunci-Thick...-10pk_1540014/
