Looking for a safe location, with good
local amenities, and no more than 30mins commute into central London.
Or just advice on some of the nicer areas would be great!
Thank you

if you want within 30 mins of central london, then you're looking at somewhere in zone 3 at the furthest, at which point I think your main challenge becomes finding somewhere affordable.

What's your budget - as in deposit you can afford and mortgage you think you will be able to raise?

also, on the affordability point, f you google search "london tube map rent", you will see a tube map that details the average cost of renting a one bedroom apartment in different places in london, and that will give you an idea of prices in each area relative to others.

Thanks for the info! Deposit would be around 100k , looking at places for around the 350/360 mark.
